development of the chinese character "鱼"(fish)
Foreword:
this comes from a story about fish protection
in traditional chinese
we have four little points under the chinese character 魚(fish)
generally speaking
in chinese these points usually means water or something related to water
instead
what we have now in simplified chinese 鱼 is only a horizontal line
some people make jokes about it:
most of the fishes live in the water
but now
most of the fishes can only be seen on plates
(because this horizontal line looks like a plate)
simple is good
it makes life easy
however
everything comes at a price
we also lost something important

The Cultural Meanings in ZhongShan Tunic Suit 中山装知多少
The modern Chinese tunic suit is a style of male attire known in China as the Zhongshan suit (simplified Chinese: 中山装; traditional Chinese: 中山裝; pinyin: Zhōngshān zhuāng) (after Sun Yat-Sen), and known in the West as the Mao suit (because Mao Zedong weared it very often),but chinese only know and use 中山装 as the name.
Sun Zhongshan (better known as Sun Yat-sen) introduced the style shortly after the founding of the Republic of China as a form of national dress although with a distinctly political and later governmental implication, so this cloth style is name after his name. the following foto explained in details the cultural meanings in ZhongShan Tunic Suit:
