我(wǒ)(生(shēng))病(bìng)了(le) = I am sick/ill
我(wǒ) = I , 生(shēng) = born or give birth to, 病(bìng) if used as a noun, it means disease , illness or sickness, if it is considered as a verb, it means “fall ill”; 了(le) means the things happened in the past.
我(wǒ)病(bìng)得(dé)很(hěn)严(yán)重(zhòng) = I am very ill/ I am seriously ill
得(dé) = it is a special word used after the verb, helping the verb to connected with its attribute; 很(hěn) = very; 严重(yánzhòng)= serious(adj.) seriously(adv.) , here, it is a adv., to describe 病(bìng).
For short we could say, 我(wǒ)病(bìng)重(zhòng).
