This sentence is the same as “May I help you?” (which we have talked about, see(2010-03-11 Room booking), usually to the customers we could say:
有(yǒu)什(shén)么(me)可(kě)以(yǐ)帮(bāng)忙(máng)的(de)吗(ma)？

请(qǐng)稍(shāo)等(děng) （稍(shāo) = a little,等(děng)= wait）is very native Chinese, The dierect translation is 只(zhī)一(yì)会(huì)儿(er), but we never use.
(只(zhī) = only, just; 一(yì)会(huì)儿(er) = a moment)
